Our Family Outreach Support Service offers support to families and their children aged 0-4, whether home-based or centre-based.
We aim to support and help families to:
- Develop good relationships
- Empower families to make positive choices
- Promote positive parenting skills
- Identify additional needs/support within the home
- Respond emphatically to family needs
- Promote SureStart activities and encourage parents to participate
- Provide emotional support to both parents and children
- Deliver support tailored to individual need
- Support children and families to access other services
- Behaviour management support
- Promote inclusion in the community and reduce feelings of isolation
