Ready Steady Sing & Play

This is a 4-week programme and was developed and overseen by the Speech & Language Team. Each week the parents receive different strategies to assist their child to develop their speech, language, and communication skills. Topics include: Singing and enjoying music Encouraging good eye -contact Attention and listening Turn taking Exploring and movement To develop these strategies’ different visual themes are used to encourage and develop appropriate adult – child interaction. These are fun, interactive, and informative sessions and are divided into 2 age groups, 0-12months and Toddler sessions.
